Earmark

earmark:
1. to set aside for a specific purpose, use, recipient, etc.
2. any distinguishing mark or characteristic
3. sign of ownership

This morning, I was in the prayer room before church started. I was praying and seeking God as to what He wanted to say. I kept on hearing the word "earmark".

I went to my husband who was in there with me and he pulled up the definition. I knew a little about it. I had heard it said in the news and such, but wanted to know more about this word. He pulled up the word on his phone's dictionary. The definitions above really stood out to me.

I went back to praying and seeking God as to what He was wanting to say concerning this word.

During worship, I kept on hearing it. It seemed that theme of worship was love and even in the prayer room as we assembled together to pray and give the morning over to Him; the theme was love and His great love for us.

Someone got up and spoke about the love of the Father and how great this love is. Throughout what this person was speaking, I kept on hearing it and felt impressed to go up and share what the Lord had laid on my heart.

We are earmarked by God. God has placed us this time and season for a purpose. When we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we are made His. We are His very own. We need to trust in the fact that we are taken care of; every aspect of our lives.

The Lord also laid on my heart that there are many who have come under attack in the Body of Christ, but to not be afraid or worry because He is taking care of us. We just need to stand in Him and trust in this fact. He is also transitioning us from where we are to something greater. We just need to stay focused on Him and His love through it all because He loves us!

Ephesians 2:10
For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.
